House. Late C15/early C16. Timber framed and plastered with a thatched roof.
1 1/2 storeys. Various casement windows; one eyebrow dormer in each roof slope.
Internal stack. To the north the converted smithy is linked to form a wing of
the house: single storey, with a hipped pantiled roof and mid C20 entrance
door. A former open hall house with storied ends; the stack is a later
insertion into the upper end of the hall. Part of an original hall window is
exposed on the ground floor. The open truss has been removed but the blocked
mortices for its arched braces can be seen in the wall posts on the ground
floor.
