Cottage. Late C16 with C18 wing to left. Timber framed with early C19 red
brick casing. Pantiled roof. 1 1/2 storeys. 3-cell form. Older part has 2
windows, 3-light mullion and transom casements with large panes under
segmental arches; mid C20 entrance door to the left. One raking dormer to
each section. Internal stack to older part, gable stack to later addition.
Modernised interior: good exposed framing on the upper floor, with evidence
for original diamond-mullioned windows; plain ground floor joists. The
partition between the hall and service end has been removed.
