Farmhouse. C15; extensively modernised 1960. Timber framed and plastered.
Half-hipped thatched roof. 1½ storeys. Mid C20 casement windows and boarded
door. 2 internal stacks. A former open hall house of 3-cell form. Interior
much altered with only a little of the structure visible. Open truss of hall
intact: slightly cambered tie beam with massive arched braces; tall cruciform
crown post. Much of the original roof appears to survive. At the north end
there is a little studding and evidence for an 8-light diamond-mullioned
window. C16 inserted ceiling with chamfered joists.
