Farmhouse. Late C16. Timber framed and plastered; right gable end rebuilt in
brick. Roof plaintiled to front and pantiled to rear. 2 storeys and attic.
3-cell, lobby entry type. 4 windows, C19 and mid C20 small-paned casements.
Mid C20 boarded and battened entrance door; C19 moulded architrave and
cornice. Internal stack and external gable stack to right. Exposed first
floor framing with reversed braces and evidence for diamond-mullioned windows.
Chamfered joists in hall and parlour. Service end originally divided into 2.
Solid tread attic stair. Small former dairy addition to rear with a large
blocked window.
