Farmhouse. C16. Timber framed and plastered with a thatched roof. 2
storeys. A single long range. Various old casement windows without glazing
bars. Lobby entrance with thatched porch and C19 half-glazed door. Internal
stack, the shaft rebuilt in C19. Interior substantially Victorianised. The
parlour has very heavy plain joists and a bridging beam with remains of
moulding; the rear storey post is similarly moulded. A little good quality
first floor framing. Queen-post roof over hall. The service end of the house
has been altered and enlarged, the framing in the end chamber with thin,
widely-spaced studs.
