8/85 Coppings Cottage


House and shop. C16-C17 core with mid C19 and mid C20 alterations. Timber
framed and plastered, lined in imitation of ashlar. Roof of glazed black
pantiles. 2 storeys. A range of 4 mid C20 6-paned sash windows to first
floor. 5 small-paned ground floor sash windows, 2 of C19 and 3 of mid C20.
C19 half-glazed entrance door. Once the village police station: the lock-up
cell has been retained inside.
