Farmhouse. C16 with C20 additions. Timber framed and plastered with a
plaintiled roof. 2 storeys and attic. 3-cell, lobby entry type. Mid C20
casement windows, 2 to the ground floor splayed. Gabled porch with mid C20
plank door. Internal stack; C19 external stack to right gable end. Good
exposed framing inside, with heavy reversed corner braces, some S-shaped.
Closely-spaced chamfered joists in hall and parlour. Roof has one row of
wind-braced clasped purlins.
