Farmhouse. C16. Timber framed, partly cased in mid C20 colourwashed brick
(including facade), partly roughcast-rendered. Roof plaintiled to front and
pantiled to rear. 2 storeys. 3-cell, lobby entry type. Mid C20 single-pane
casement windows. 2 original first floor mullioned windows have been opened
out and others are exposed internally. Early C19 gabled porch and original
half-glazed door with pointed-arch glazing bars to upper panes. Hoodmould
over doorway. Internal stack and small later gable stack to right. Much good
quality framing is exposed internally. Storey posts in hall and parlour have
carved consoles. Closely-spaced chamfered hall joists. 2 arched brick
fireplaces on first floor.
