Former farmhouse. In 3 distinct sections: to right part of a medieval range;
to centre a mid C16 parlour addition in 3 bays; to left a small C19 addition.
Timber framed and plastered with pantiled roofs. Parlour addition has 2
storeys with disused attic, remainder 1½ storeys. Mid C20 standard casement
windows; mid C20 door. Gable stack to parlour addition, at its junction with
the earlier range. Small gable stack to C19 wing. In the parlour a bridging
beam with barred stop-chamfers; the front storey post retains its original
shaped head. The chamber above has fine exposed framing with reversed braces
and tie beams with a pronounced camber. Chamfered-joist ceiling with planked-
in cornice. Over this chamber is a queen-post roof.
