Former farmhouse, now 2 cottages. C16 with C17 alterations. C20 lean-to
addition to left. Timber framed and plastered with pantiled roof. 2 storeys.
3-cell form. Right hand cottage modernised 1985: new panelled plasterwork,
new small-paned casement windows. Internal stack with rebuilt shaft.
External stack of c.1700 to left. First floor in right hand cottage seems to
have been reconstructed at a higher level; with the exception of the end bay
the joists are set on edge. Against the right of the stack an open truss with
queen posts. 2 windows with ovolo mullions. Interior of left hand cottage
and roofspace not examined.
