Barn 20m north east of Foals Green Farmhouse

Barn. C17, in 2 phases. Restored c.1980. Timber framed and weatherboarded
with roof clad in corrugated iron. Mid C20 single-pane windows. 4 bays in
total, the eastern bay a slightly later addition for stables. Cart entrance
in middle bay of first phase. Frame has a middle rail and reversed bracing.
Gable end wall between the 2 phases is partly original, with clay lump
infilling. Roof has clasped and butt purlins, the original rafters mostly
missing. Included for group value.
