Farmhouse. C15 with late C16 parlour addition. Timber framed and plastered
with whitewashed brick to gable ends. Half-hipped thatched roof. 1½ storeys.
Ground floor has mid C20 standard casement windows with large panes; C19
casement windows to upper floor, one in the form of an eyebrow dormer.
Internal stack, inserted against the upper end of the hall, with plain C16
shaft. A former 2-bay open hall with service end to right. Queen-post roof
over hall. Structure almost entirely concealed; the hall open truss is intact
but has been boxed in. Shaped heads to storey posts in parlour suggest this
end of the house has been added or rebuilt. Newel stair.
