GV II

Barn. Early C17, extended C19. Timber frame, weatherboarded. Steeply
pitched pantiled roof. 5 bays. A C19 midstrey with double doors faces away
from house. Flanking lean-to additions that to left open fronted. Windows in
gable ends. To left a lower added bay with some rendering. Interior: close
studding with midrail and reverse curved bracing in walling at ends, jowled
posts with knees replacing arched braces to cambered tie beams. Double butt
purlin roof, cranked windbraces to upper purlins, collars to principal
rafters.
