House. Mid to late C17 with possibly earlier origins. Cased and extended in
late C19. Timber frame, red brick cased. Steeply pitched slate and glazed
pantiled roof. 3 cell lobby entrance plan. 2 storeys. Ground floor:
entrance was slightly left of centre in a porch now blocked with a casement to
front, leaded 2-light casements with rendered, key blocked lintels. First
floor recessed C19 sashes. Rebuilt ridge stack. Left end 2-light casements
with segmental heads, bargeboarded gables. Entrance now to rear. A C19
kitchen wing extends to rear centre with a hipped roof, to rear right a flint
and brick outbuilding. Interior: parlour to left has traces of possibly
earlier framing, stop chamfered axial binding beams. First floor not
inspected.
