House. 1604 on stack internally, extended C18. Timber frame, extended in
clay lump, plastered. Thatched roof with pantiles on extension. 2 cells with
a lower kitchen bay added to right. 1 storey and attic. Entrance towards
right end, recessed boarded door with a hoodboard. C20 casements and gabled
dormers of 2 and 3 lights, an early casement to rear. Internal right end
stack. External left end stack is an addition. Kitchen bay to right has been
raised to provide an attic, catslide roof over lean-to outshut addition to
rear. Interior: deeply chamfered axial binding beam, tension braces, jowled
posts, clasped purlin collar roof.
