GV II

House, latterly 2 dwellings. Mid C16. Stack inserted and floored C17,
altered and extended C20. Timber frame, plastered. Steeply pitched pantiled
roof. 3 cells with a small open hall originally, stack inserted backing onto
cross passage. Now all 2 storeys. Entrances in orignal cross passage
position. 2 light glazing bar casement windows. Boxed eaves. Ridge stack.
Left gable end curved brackets to formerly jettied gable. Right gable end
pentice board. To rear a 2 storey C20 wing. Interior: framing altered
retaining two cross axial stop chamfered binding beams, stop chamfered joists,
jowled posts with arched braces to cambered tie beams, reverse curved braces
in walling.
