House, latterly 2 dwellings. Early and later C17 in 2 phases. Timber frame,
plastered. Thatched roofs. Lower 1 storey and attic bay to left is probably
earlier with slightly taller 2 storey and attic 2 bay extension to right.
Boarded door to far right, 9 pane part opening flush metal frame casements,
smaller on first floor, a dormer to left. Axial on ridge where 2 builds join
is a cement rendered multiform stack, probably built with earlier bay. Gable
end 2-light attic windows, to left brick casing and a pentice board. C20
additions to rear with an entrance to right. Interior: stop chamfered cross
axial binding beams and joists, fairly close studding with braces in walling,
a diamond mullioned window opening on upper storey of early bay, collars clasp
purlins, windbraces.
