House, now 2 dwellings. C16 or earlier origins; raised, altered and extended
in C17, altered and extended C20. Timber frame, plastered. Thatched roof.
Originally probably a 2 or 3 bay open hall with parlour and entrance bays
added to left to form a 3 cell lobby entry plan. All 2 storeys. Right hand
dwelling is hall and service bays with a panelled door to left of centre, a
large 3-light glazing bar casement to left and smaller 2 and 3-light glazing
bar casements to right, first floor two 2-light casements. Straight joint to
later bays to left with a boarded lobby entrance door, C20 glazing bar
casements and a small stained glass pane over entrance. Rebuilt ridge stack.
Right gable end early external stack, broad base with a small thatched oven
lean-to outshut, tapering to narrow cap. Left gable end exposed plates and
purlins. To rear left a 1 storey and attic lean-to addition. Interior not
inspected.
