House. Early C17, altered early C19. Timber frame, plastered and refronted
in white brick. Steeply hipped plain tiled roof. Broad 3 cell lobby entrance
main range with a 3 bay service wing to form a large L on plan. 2 storeys.
Entrance to right of centre in a shallow early C19 flat headed porch, part
glazed and part raised 6 panelled door, architrave curved to point at head,
outer fluted pilastered jambs, large cambered brick arch behind porch. 20-
pane glazing bar sashes, recessed with ground floor gauged brick flat arched
heads. 2 axial ridge stacks between each cell on main range, rebuilt shafts.
Left return to rear wing has a boarded door towards front with a lugged hooded
architrave, varied casements, an internal stack on outer roof slope, towards
rear a door and an open ground floor bay, slightly lower ridge to rear-wing
with a gable to rear. To rear small slate and pantile roofed outshuts.
Interior not inspected.
