Forecourt walls and gate piers to Ling Farm House (q.v.). Early C19. Red
brick. Wall of about lm in height encloses 3 sides of forecourt with openings
at ends near house and to centre front. Central low iron gate with circle
band, flanking piers with ashlar ball finials, ramps down to wall with
pilaster strip divisions, 2 panels to each front section, 4 to each return,
ramps up at return angles, dentilled course to rounded coping. Included for
group value.
