House. Early C19, extended and altered 1928, date in brickwork. Red brick
with painted dressings. Shallow hipped glazed pantiled roof. 3 bays. 2
storeys. Symmetrical facade: central entrance with a step up to a 4 panelled
door with half pilastered jambs and a Gothic traceried semi-circular fanlight
in a round headed architrave, shallow Roman Doric porch with correct details.
Flanking on ground floor are round headed sashes, 8:8 panes with Gothic
traceried heads, recessed with white painted surrounds. First floor three 16
pane sashes, recessed with gauged brick flat arched heads, white painted
surrounds. Coped parapet. White painted quoins with internal end stacks.
Attached to left end and to rear are early C20 additions: 3 bay return with 12
pane sashes, stepped up parapet, 3 bays to rear, central glazed door with a
bracketed hood, sashes, key blocked oculus in water tank tower. Half glazed
door into centre bay of main block with a stair window abvove, 16 pane
segmental headed sashes. To rear right a 1 storey and attic outshut with a
stack. Interior: round arch in passage to dogleg staircase, slat balusters,
moulded handrail.
