Two houses, built as one in mid C16. 1 storey and attics. 3-cell cross-entry
plan. Timber-framed and plastered. Pantiled roof, formerly thatched; half-
hipped at either end. An axial chimney of C19 red brick. Two C20 raking
dormers with casements. C20 casements. Two boarded C19 entrance doors. Good
exposed framing; very closely-spaced studwork, corner basecrucks supporting
the half-hip at right hand end and probably also the left. Roof probably of
coupled-rafter type with purlins added later.
