- Castle Farmhouse.

Barn, late C17. 5 bays; an aisle at north side; extended eastwards by 3 bays
in C19 (the profile is lower to this section). Timber-framed with wattle-
and-daub infill, weatherboarded since C19. Corrugated iron roof, once
thatched. Set of 4 (incomplete) boarded barn doors. Heavy wall framing with
long primary braces. Short struts rise from the arcade posts to support a
purlin beneath the aisle rafters; there is no other bracing in the aisle.
Clasped purlin roof. Castle Farmhouse is not a listed building.
