Farmhouse, early C17 with possible earlier core. 3-cell cross-entry plan. 2
storeys. Timber-framed and pebble-dashed. Pantiled roof, once thatched; at
right hand gable is a pair of carved brackets beneath C19 bargeboards with
carved and pierced soffits and long drop-finial. An axial early C17 chimney
of red brick with sunk date panel on the base, and a sawtooth shaft. Mid C19
entrance doorway at cross-entry position; gabled porch; carved brackets with
decorative bargeboards. A rear service wing of C17 or earlier. Interior not
examined.
