House, probably late C16 or early C17. 2 storeys and attics. 3 windows. 2-
cell lobby-entrance plan. Timber-framed and plastered. Plaintiled roof with
some slating at the eaves. Two C18 lead-clad segmental headed dormers with
casements. An axial C16/C17 chimney of pink/buff brick, the shaft rebuilt C19
in red brick. Good and complete early C18 fenestration: 3-light windows with
transomes and wrought iron opening lights. Early C18 doorway at lobby-
entrance; 6-panelled door, the upper panels glazed; broad architrave and
entablature with pediment. 2-tier side purlin roof. A wing of 1 1/2 storeys,
plastered and plaintiled, to rear right. Interior not examined.
