House, mid C16 with alterations of c.1980. 2 storeys and attics. Timber-framed and plastered. Pantiled roofs, some black-glazed; formerly thatched. An axial C17/C18 chimney of red brick. Late C20 casements. A late C20 pantiled entrance porch with panelled door. A 3-bay mid C16 house forms the nucleus. Heavy framing with arch wind-braced studding and evidence for diamond mullioned windows. In C17 a 1 1/2 storey extension was made to the north-west end, and a chimney inserted with back-to-back lintelled open fireplaces.
