House, early C16: a fragment of a larger house which has been otherwise
demolished. 2 storeys; 2 windows. Timber framed and plastered; the upper
floor is long-wall jettied on the north side, with brackets and shafts beneath
the jetty and embattling to the beams. The south wall was also jettied until
C19 when underbuilt in painted brick. Plaintiled roof; a C17 internal end
chimney to right. C18 or early C19 3-light casements. A gabled plaintiled
C19 entrance porch with arched outer doorway and boarded inner door. Interior
not examined.
