Farmhouse, early C17 with earlier, and possibly medieval, core. Hall of 1 1/2
storeys with narrow and short 2 storey cross-wing to left. Timber-framed and
roughcast. Pantiled roofs once thatched. An external C17 chimney to rear of
cross-wing: pink/orange brick with 3 octagonal shafts rebuilt in C19. Various
C19 and C20 casements; a projecting gable tiebeam, moulded in the C17 manner;
a splayed window beneath is of oriel form and may be of C17 origin although
with C20 casement. Beneath the oriel is an C18 casement with transomes. C20
half-glazed entrance door. Interior not examined.
