House, built in 3 stages; early C16, early C17 and early C19. An original 2-
cell range of one storey with attics to right; a C17 2-storey parlour block at
centre, and a set-forward C19 2-storey addition to left. Timber-framed and
plastered. Pantiled roofs, the lower range has areas of glazed tiles. An
axial early C17 chimney of red brick with a sawtooth shaft; a C19 chimney in
the left hand block, the shaft rebuilt in C20 red brick. Late C19 small-pane
casements. Boarded C19 entrance door. The C16 range contains a hall with
service room(s) to right: the framing is plain and heavy with massive
unchamfered floor joists. The parlour block has fully exposed framing with
chamfered first floor joists. Good lintelled back-to-back open fireplaces.
