House, C17. 2-cell lobby-entrance plan. Timber-framed and plastered.
Thatched roof with axial chimney, the shaft rebuilt in C19 brick. Various
C19/C20 casements, those at ground storey with small panes. C20 panelled door
at lobby entrance position. Major reuse of C15 or early C16 components, in
particular studs and rafters. The C17 house is in 3 bays, of which one
internal truss was closed, the other open. In C18/C19 the chimney was moved,
to give two cells of equal size.
