3/73 Win's Cottage and La Reve
-
GV II
Pair of cottages, probably late C18. 2 storeys. Timber-framed and plastered.
Hipped thatched roof with an axial chimney, the shaft rebuilt in C19 red
brick. La Reve has C18 3-light casements with boarded shutters at ground
storey. Win's Cottage has mid C20 3-light casements. La Reve has a C19
boarded and battened door and an architrave reeded with paterae at the
corners. This doorway is at lobby-entrance position: perhaps the house was
once of 2-cell lobby-entrance plan and later subdivided.
