House, mid or late C17. 3-cell lobby entrance plan. One storey and attics.
Timber-framed and plastered; some C18/C19 cable pattern pargetting. Asbestos-
cement slated roof, formerly thatched; an axial chimney with shaft rebuilt in
C19 red brick; and a C19 end chimney to right. Two mid C19 sashes with large
panes. A 6-panelled door at lobby-entrance position and a boarded door to
right, both of c.1840. Complete C17 framing; primary-braced close-studding,
unchamfered floor joists, laid flat and clamped to full-height studs. A
lintelled open fireplace in the hall. Unoccupied and in poor condition at
date of survey.
