GV II
House, C15 core with early or mid C16 and mid C19 alterations. Timber-framed,
encased at the front in painted C19 brick. Pantiled roof with axial C19
chimney of red brick. 2 storeys. 2 windows. At 1st storey, two C19
casements with leaded lights; at ground storey a small-pane sash with flush
frame and segmental head. C19 entrance doorway with 6-panelled door of
c.1980. A converted open hall, built as one with the adjacent crosswing (now a
separate dwelling known as Tyrells, see previous item). Good early C16
moulded ceiling beams and joists.
