Entrance gates to Oaksmere. C18. Partly rebuilt mid C20. Tall square red
brick piers with chamfered rustication; moulded bases; corbelled and moulded
caps surmounted by stone spheres. Good paired wrought iron gates with a
canopy of scrollwork above. Screen walls in matching style, with copings
supported by a corbel cornice. Wrought iron railings above. The terminal
piers are smaller versions of the main ones.
