The Croft
II
Former farmhouse, now 2 dwellings. C17. Timber framed and plastered with a
pantiled roof. 1 1/2 storeys. 3-cell form. Various casement windows, all
metal-framed and of mid C20 date. 2 gabled dormers. 2 doorways: to centre a
C20 panelled door and to right a C19 panelled door set in a contemporary
wooden gabled porch. Internal stack. Right hand cottage has plain studding.
Substantial square joists in service room, chamfered joists set flat in hall.
Interior of left hand cottage not examined.
