Originally one house, now 3 cottages. C16. Timber framed and plastered, with
small remains of old plaster panels. Slated roof. 2 storeys. Casement
windows: No.57 has 3-light windows of C19 date, No.55 and No.56 mid C20
standard windows with small panes. No.56 has a large C19 gabled porch with
studded plank door in C16 style. Mid C20 door to No.55. Ground floor of
No.57 set slightly forward under a lean-to roof; boarded entrance door.
Internal stack, the shaft rebuilt in mid C20. Interiors not examined.
