The list discription shall be amended:
Former farmhouse. Late C16 with C19 addition to south. Old part
timber framed and plastered with a thatched roof. 2 storeys and
attic. 2-cell, end chimney plan. Various old casement windows. C19.
half-glazed 4-panelled door in side wall. In north gable end (facing
the road) a 4-panelled door and narrow oblong fanlight. Lean-to on
west side was formerly a workshop. C19 addition of rendered clay
lump with a shallow-pitched pantiled roof. Intact timber-frame.
Plain joists on ground floor. Girding, beam in service partition is
moulded to the cross-passage. 2 service doorways (one blocked).
Cross-partition,on floor above has cambered tie beam and a heavy 2-
centre arched doorway.
