House, latterly 2 cottages. C16, possibly with medieval origins; later C17
addition to left with lower roof ridge. Timber framed and plastered with
thatched roof. 1 1/2 storeys. 2-cell form. Mid C20 2-light casement windows, a
range of 3 in total. 2 boarded doors. 2 eyebrow dormers. Internal stack.
Pantiled lean-to on right. Intact timber frame with reversed braces. Plain
joists exposed in ground floor rooms. Right hand cell may be a different
phase, with evidence for a hipped roof, possibly medieval. Roof replaced in
softwood, probably in C18.
