Former farmhouse. C16. Timber framed and plastered with a thatched roof. 2
storeys and attic. 3-cell, cross-entry form. Small-paned casement windows.
C20 plank door and open gabled porch. Internal stack, most of the shaft with
original brickwork, 1 1/2-storey pantiled addition to left. Main components of
the frame and some studs are exposed inside. Blocked cross-entry doorway with
4-centre arched head. Parlour fireplace has 4-centre arched lintol. Roof has
one row of wind-braced clasped purlins.
