House. C16. Timber framed and plastered with a thatched roof. 2 storeys and
attic. 3-cell form. 3 windows, mainly C19 small-paned casements. C19 half-
glazed door (disused). Bracketed drip boards to ground floor openings.
Internal stack with 2 square shafts set diamondwise. Exposed timbering
internally, with evidence for diamond-mullioned windows. Plain joists in
hall. Partition between hall and service end has one 4-centre arched doorhead
and evidence for a second; the post between these doorways is re-used and has
trail carving.
