Barn. C17 and later. Timber framed, mainly weatherboarded, the upper portion
of some walls plastered. Pantiled roof except porch which has double Roman
tiles. 4 bays; cart entrance in second bay from north end, with gabled porch
to west. A much altered frame with some reverse-curved braces. The south bay
is a later addition and was once floored over, the axial bridging beam still
in position. Clasped-purlin roof, heavily rebuilt. Good herringbone brick
threshing floor. Included for group value.
