Former farmhouse, early C17 with possible C16 core. 2 storeys. 3-cell plan:
a 4th cell to left may be a C17 addition. Timber-framed and plastered.
Plaintiled roof. An internal end chimney to left of early C17 red brick with
a diaper-patterned terracotta freize at the base and six detached octagonal
shafts. To rear of the hall is an external chimney of similar design with 3
shafts. 3-light casements, those at ground storey of C19 with transomes,
those above are probably C18. To rear are C18 casements with transomes and
leaded glazing. C20 6-panelled entrance door. Interior not examined.
