Farmhouse. A late C16 3-cell range with slightly later 2-cell service cross-
wing to left, projecting to front and rear. Early C19 alterations. Timber
framed, the facade cased in colourwashed brick on the ground floor and
plastered above, the remainder roughcast-rendered. Roof pantiled to front and
plaintiled to rear. 2 storeys; attic over hall only. 3 windows, mainly C19
sashes with glazing bars in flush frames; a small C18 casement window to upper
left. Lobby entrance: gabled porch with mid C20 battened plank door. One
gabled dormer. Internal stack, the upper part of the shaft rebuilt mid C20
with 3 diamond flues. Against front gable end of wing is a lean-to addition
with slatted window. Internally, nearly all the timbers are concealed.
Several early C19 doorways with reeded architraves. Newel stair to first
floor. Roof over hall has clasped and butt purlins.
