3/87 Corner House
- II
House. First half of C17. Timber framed and plastered, thatched roof. 1½
storeys. 3-cell form with cross-entry. Various casement windows: one of C19,
2 of mid C20 standard single-pane type. Boarded door into cross-entry; mid
C20 glazed door to extreme right. To the left, 2 tall eyebrow dormers with
C19 windows. Internal stack with rebuilt shaft. Mid C20 garage addition on
left gable end. Plain studding is exposed internally. Hall and parlour have
axial bridging beams and plain joists set flat. Newel stair, partly rebuilt
mid C20.
