House. First half of C17, in 2 phases. Timber framed, textured render,
thatched roof. 2-cell form. 2 storeys and attic. Casement windows and
boarded door, all of 1986. Internal stack, the red brick shaft rebuilt 1986.
Plain studding is exposed in the upstairs rooms, that to the left cell
slightly heavier and probably earlier than the remainder. Braces on the
outside in both phases. On the ground floor, square plain joists in the left
cell. Newel stair. Roof over right cell has clasped purlins and incomplete
curved wind bracing.
