Friars Farmhouse

Farmhouse. First half of C17. Timber framed; old plasterwork to front and
left gable end, the remainder roughcast-rendered. Roof clad in corrugated
iron (over thatch). 1½ storeys. 3-cell form. Mainly C19 casement windows.
Cross-entry has mid C20 gabled porch with half-glazed side door. Boarded door
to extreme right. One recessed dormer. Internal stack with rendered shaft.
One-storey pantiled additions to left and rear. Internally nearly all the
frame is concealed. Plain joists, set flat, in hall and parlour.
