BEDFIELD LONG GREEN

2/26 White Horse Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Late C17 with later additions. Timber framed and plastered with
old plasterwork to the front. Pantiled roof except small section to rear
which has been raised and clad in corrugated iron. 1 1/2 storeys. Old casement
windows. 2 plank doors. 2 raking dormers. Gable stacks, both external. To
right is a lower wing of colourwashed brick with a glazed black pantiled roof.
Set forward of this addition is a one-storey outhouse, probably once all of
clay lump construction, now partly rebuilt in other materials; pantiled roof.
Interior. Not fully examined, most of the structure concealed. Included for
group value.
