DEBENHAM ASPALL ROAD

House. Mid C18. Timber framed, the facade and right gable end faced in late
C19 red brick with grey brick dressings; remainder plastered. Plaintiled
roof. 2 storeys and attic. Symmetrical 3-bay facade. Side bays have 6-paned
sash windows under segmental arches. Original Doric doorcase with fluted
pilasters, entablature with triglyphs and guttae and a dentil cornice. Mid
C20 6-panel raised and fielded door. Window above has semi-circular arched
head with key, supported by fluted pilasters. Central stack with axial red
brick shaft. C20 lean-to on right has a single 6-paned sash window.
Interior. Largely intact. Thin primary-braced studding. Newel stair in two
flights.
