6/53 Barn 30m. west of Gull
- Farmhouse

Barn. C16. Timber framed, clad in tarred weatherboards except south gable
end which has corrugated iron cladding. Pantiled roof. Cart entry in 2ad bay
from south with later gabled porch to west flanked by lean-to additions.
Interior. Intact frame in four unequal bays with widely-spaced heavy studs
and long arched wall braces. Bay at north end was originally floored over:
evidence for one diamond-mullioned window and probable doorway adjacent. Tie-
beam braces nearly all replaced by knees. Queen-post roof, originally hipped,
with largely intact braces to arcade plates and collars; original rafters
except over the south bay. Brick threshing floor.
