2 dwellings, the main block originally one house. A C16 3-cell range with
small C19 addition to right. No.25 comprises the hall and service cells of
the original range, No.27 the parlour cell and C19 addition. Timber framed;
No.25 roughcast-rendered, No.27 faced in colourwashed brick. Slated roof.
C19 addition is of colourwashed brick with a pantiled roof. 2 storeys, attic
in main block. No.25 has 3 3-light casement windows to upper floor, with a
single horizontal glazing bar to each light. On the ground floor, a 3-light
mullion and transom window without glazing bars to right and a small-paned
sash window to left. C19 4-panel door. No.27 has 2 large-paned sash windows
under segmental arches on ground floor and 2-light small-paned casements
above. 6-panel raised and fielded door. Main block has internal stack, the
lower portion of the shaft possibly original. Interior. Some plain heavy
studding in No.25; hall chamber has central cambered tie beam, the braces
removed. Ceiling joists and roof timbers concealed. Interior of No.27 not
examined.
